In-Store Happenings:
4/12: Cowboy Carter Line Dancing Class & Album Release Happy Hour @ 5-7pm
We're so excited to get the first edition vinyl release of Cowboy Carter on April 12. Come by from 5-6 for a happy hour with free themed mini-cocktails while we spin the album.
And then from 6-7, Evolve Dance will be here to teach a Beyonce line-dancing class! Come in, get some liquid courage, and then let's do a little dancing, y'all!
4/16: Our first-ever Tabletop RPG Game Night @ 7:30pm
We will have two awesome tables of games running from 7:30-10:30. These are for new and experienced players alike!
Latchkey's own Ben Mazz will run the indie RPG he created: Don't Tell Mom & Dad. If you love the idea of running around as a kid on an adventure (think: E.T., Stranger Things, etc), you're gonna love this game. GET YOUR TICKET HERE.
And shop owner Marc will run D&D on a second table. Marc has a decade of DM experience, and his games tend to focus on character and creative choices. There'll be at least one rad combat, too. GET YOUR TICKET HERE.
THIS IS A TICKETED EVENT. A seat is $15. We'll provide the game and snacks, you bring drinks and dice.
4/19: Kittens & Poets: A Taylor Swift Release Party @ 5-7pm
Morris Animal Refuge will join us for the release of The Tortured Poets Department, Taylor's newest LP. We'll have two adorable litters of kittens for you to meet and learn more about adoption. We're so excited to spin the new album, hang with kitties, and talk Taylor! All ages welcome and free to attend!
4/20: RECORD STORE DAY 2024 @ 9am
WHAT A DAY WE HAVE PLANNED.
We open at 9am, and we're working to have B2 Cafe provide coffee to folks in line while you wait. We'll hand out slips for in-demand titles for folks in line, too.
Then that afternoon, the delightful punk trio Vial will perform in-store at 2:30pm and sign LPs at 3. They're soooo much fun, check 'em out and then come see 'em for free here at Latchkey! Plus Inside Out Pizza will have their truck out front slinging pies. They're a South Philly secret you won't wanna miss.

4/28: Flavors on the Avenue Street Festival @ 11am-5pm
We're gonna be out front with a big ol' tent amidst the biggest street festival of the year! Swing by for sales and all sorts of cool goodies for music and pop culture fans. We might also be DJing near the shop, so come by and get your groove on with Marc!
